Theodora, died before 337. Follis (Bronze, 15 mm, 1.82 g, 1 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, after 337. LMIHITHoDoRIIVAG Diademed and cuirassed (sic!) bust of Theodora to right. Rev. [...]V - BLICII / TRS Pax standing front, head to left, holding branch in her right hand and longs scepter in her left. Cf. RIC 91 (for obverse) and 90 (for reverse). Minor pitting, otherwise, about extremely fine.


This charming imitation mixes up an obverse of Theodora (RIC 91) with a reverse of Helena (RIC 90).
